💬 Lesson Description

I have a ton of lesson videos on how to get better at the guitar, practice technique, go through various drills, and learn the fretboard.

I want us to take a big step back to reflect on our deeper purpose behind all this practice.

None of this work matters if we don't know what makes us truly passionate about music.

We need to have a north star - an internal drive to continue playing music.

If we have this north star, not only are we going to have fulfillment, joy, and meaning in music, but we're also going to make progress much more effectively.

So in this video, I talk about various reasons that someone might play music, many of which are valuable for myself.

Nobody has to play music for the same reasons - only you can decide what reasons are right for you.

I hope you enjoyed this lesson about finding reasons to practice and found it beneficial. Let me know what you thought in the comments.

Thanks! :)

- Jared
