Here's a simple way to start working on classical guitar improvisation. Techniques in this lesson are taken from Mauro Giuliani's Etude No. 1 in E minor and then used for improvisation.
It's a shame that improvisation techniques are not addressed in typical classical guitar lessons. The benefits of of learning to improvise are too great to ignore. This is an excellent first step if you're interested in giving it a try.
