A couple months ago, I published a lesson on how to play three-notes-per-string scales using the repeating logic of the fretboard.
It’s a little trickier to do this with the five ergonomic scale forms, but it’s still doable and beneficial.
In this video, I break down how to learn guitar scales by seeing the repeating patterns that make up the scale structures on the guitar.
It’s helpful to learn guitar scales this way and to understand the layout of the fretboard better, and how tonality is organized on the instrument.
